5Beer5K Anderson Craft Ales Challenge Relay:
Same as 5Beer5K, but with a team of two to five runners. You figure out amongst your team who will run which legs, with at least one member of teams with less than 5 runners having to consume 2 or more beers and run 2 or more legs. NOTE that the person consuming the beer must then run the following 1K leg. Each team will be provided with a six-pack of their favourite Anderson Craft Ale for the race, plus an extra six-pack for the team after the race.
Ladies Wine Division:
Same as 5Beer5K except the female runner consumes 5 small (2.5 oz) glasses of wine, which can be non-carbonated.
Shot Division (Men’s and Women’s Divisions):
Same as 5Beer5K except the runner consumes 5 small (1 oz) shot glasses of spirits (e.g. Rye or Scotch whiskey) or liqueur, which can be non-carbonated.
Partners Division:
A runner and his or her life partner team up. Same rules as the 5beer5K Relay except for one runs the 5 kilometres and the other drinks the 5 beers (male non-runner) or 5 x 2.5 oz. of wine (female non-runner). Runner or drinker must hold the baton while they are actively running or drinking to ensure that there is no simultaneous running and drinking.
Scotch Flight Division:
Same as Shot Division except the runner consumes 5 small (1 oz) shot glasses of Single Malt Scotch and must read or have recited to him the Scotch’s description . The Scotch must be held in the mouth for 1 second for each year of the Scotch’s age (e.g. 12 seconds for a 12 year old Scotch).

Hi Folks:
Just wondering if there will be a 2019 rendition of the 5Beer5K race. If so, can you advise of host location?
Thanks so much!
Derek Illman
Hi, Derek: Yup — just getting organized now. Friday August 23. Registration opens at 6:30 and gun time is 7:30 sharp. We aren’t 100% sure on the venue, but it will be in or around London Ontario.
The 5Beer5K.com website is now up-to-date with divisions and the date, time and address for this year’s event.
